* Built-in volume calculations from standard tank shapes or calibration curves

Ultra 5 continues where Ultra 3 leaves off, maintaining the same reliability, flexibility and menu-driven programming simplicity, with two extra relays, extra features for advanced pump control, differential level and open channel flow, plus the option of RS485 digital communication and 4–20 mA input.

Two independent ultrasonic systems in one unit. Each channel is user configurable to operate in any combination of: a full function open channel flow monitor calculating flow rate to BS ISO standards, a pump control system or as a level and volume monitoring unit for liquids or solids, calculating volumes and providing alarms. UltraTWIN features six relays configurable for either channel as well as four digital inputs and 2 x 4-20mA outputs.

The dB Transducer Series is a range of non-contacting ultrasonic transducers for level, volume and flow measurement. Available in a variety of models and compatible with all Pulsar controllers so that you have a specific solution to suit your application requirements.

FMCW RADAR dBR sensor for non-contacting level and volume measurement
For the first time, users of Pulsar’s industry-leading non-contacting level measurement systems have the option of choosing either ultrasonic or non contacting FMCW RADAR for level, volume, flow and pump control applications. mmWAVE RADAR offers significant advantages over pulsed RADAR systems - higher resolution, better signal to noise ratio and better target discrimination.
Compatible with Pulsar’s standard controller, the mmWAVE RADAR dBR sensor benefits from Pulsar’s unique DATEM echo processing software.

Pulsar’s Intelligent Transducers set new standards in communications and convenience for reliable plant and field based level measurement systems.
Pulsar’s dBi Series Intelligent Transducers featuring HART are typically programmed either via one of the several hand-held calibrators available, or via PC interface. Measurement is signalled either via 4-20mA proportional to the measured value or using the HART protocol

High accuracy flow on weirs, flumes and area x velocity
Pulsar’s FlowCERT system gives you everything you need for the industry's highest accuracy non-contacting ultrasonic measurement of open channel flows. Designed for flumes and weirs, FlowCERT gives temperature independent, reliable measurement and logging facilities. It includes five alarm/control relays plus 4 20mA output, datalogging, digital input with the ability to accept a velocity sensor input for non PMD applications. Programming the unit is a simple, menu-driven process. MCERTs class 1 approval when used with DUET.

Dual Ultrasonic Echo Transducer
FlowCERT and Pulsar’s unique twin transducer DUET, provides the highest accuracy non-contact ultrasonic flow measurement system available.
Non-Contacting Liquid Flow Velocity Sensor
MicroFlow is a non-contacting liquid flow velocity sensor that uses microwave technology to transmit short pulses that reflect off a moving surface back to the sensor and are analyzed to determine the velocity. It is designed for open channel flow applications where the channel has no existing primary measurement device (e.g. weir or flume). Can be combined with a Pulsar level transducer and controller in order to provide a complete flow measurement system.
Non-Contacting Loop Powered Liquid Velocity Sensor
MicroFlow-i is a non-contacting low power consumption microwave liquid velocity sensor. It can be installed as an individual sensor or used to provide HART communication protocol or a 4 20mA loop powered signal into a system. It’s extremely low power consumption makes it the ideal velocity solution for sewerage network monitoring (CSO) and all remote installations where mains power is unavailable.

Pulsar’s Sludge Finder 2 is a controller and transducer system that provides reliable continuous sludge blanket level measurement. It is used in thousands of applications worldwide for detecting sludge blanket levels in primary, secondary, tertiary settlement tanks either with stationary or traveling bridges, clarifiers, gravity thickeners or sequencing batch reactor (SBR) systems.
